Eastern Sabah

Sabah is richly blessed with nature diversity, unique cultures, fun adventure, beautiful beaches and fantastic cuisines for adventurous taste buds. The state offers a great diversity: the world’s largest flower - the Rafflesia, one of the highest mountains in South East Asia - Mount Kinabalu, and one of the world’s top dive sites - Sipadan Island.

Sabah is also known for its great natural treasures which include the world-renowned Danum Valley Conservation Area and Tabin, which is Sabah’s largest wildlife reserve. Sabah is the third most populous state in Malaysia after Selangor and Johor, and there are 32 officially recognized ethnic groups.

With good infrastructure and the lively and bustling capital city of Kota Kinabalu and other cities, Sabah is relatively easy to explore, except for several regions which need an adventurous approach to visit.
